Milano Fashion Week- Mestieri d'Arte e Moda d'Autore

Per un'amante come me degli strass, swarovski, paillettes e lustrini, non poteva che essere una gioia partecipare all'inaugurazione di "Mestieri d'Arte e Moda d'Autore" una mostra che celebra l'arte e la maestria di Pino Grasso, famoso ricamatore milanese che vanta collaborazioni con i più importanti nomi della moda come Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferrè, Versace, Mila Schon, Dolce&Gabbana, Etro.
Nell'atmosfera vintage della sala Alessi di Palazzo Marino, sotto luci soffuse, brillavano corpetti, giacche, abiti e campioni di tessuto, impreziositi dall'arte sartoriale del ricamatore.
Il mio look del giorno: bianco e nero con una nota di rosso come forte contrasto.

For a crystal, swarovski, paillettes and sparkles lover like me, it could only be a pleasure to be part of the opening of "Mestieri d'Arte e Moda d'Autore", a presentation to celebrate's the art and mastery of Pino Grasso, a famous Milanese embroiderer who has collaborated with the most important names of fashion, just as Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferrè, Versace, Mila Schon, Dolce&Gabbana, Etro. 
In the vintage atmosphere within Alessi room in Palazzo Marino, under soft lights, sparkles of corsages, jackets, dresses and clothes, with the precious touch of the embroiderer's sartorial mastery.
My look of the day: black and white with a hint of red as a strong contrast.

Red coat

Fino a qualche anno fa, nel mio armadio, non compariva nulla di rosso.
Non era tra i miei colori preferiti.
Ma i gusti cambiano.
Ora mi piace portarlo, soprattutto in inverno, per dare una nota di colore alle fredde e grigie giornate o per  spezzare un look tutto nero.
Questo cappotto mi ha colpito subito, ricorda molto lo stile Valentino, con le sue morbide ruches a più strati che adornano il collo e dal bel rosso acceso che lo caratterizza.

Until a few years ago, in my closet, there wasn't anything red.
It was not one of my favorite colours.
But ideas can change.
Now I love wearing it, especially in winter, to give a touch of colour to the cold and gray days or to break a total black look.
This coat has struck me right away, it reminds me a lot Valentino's style, with its multi-layer soft ruffles adorning the neck and the beautiful bright red that characterizes it.

Mi sono accorta di non aver mai fatto un post con questa mantella, è uno dei capispalla che indosso più spesso.
E' stata fatta da Lisa Couture l'anno scorso, insieme ad una viola ed un'altra blu elettrico.
Si allaccia sul collo con due bottoni, scendendo morbida lungo i fianchi e lasciando libere le braccia.
Certi modelli hanno quegli scomodissimi buchi per le braccia che, a mio parere, limitano i movimenti e sono antiestetici.
Ho deciso di abbinarla alle nuove scarpe di Westrags.
Non sono bellissime!?!

I realized that I've never had a photo shot with this cape,
I wear it a lot. It was made by Lisa Couture last year, together with a purple and another electric blue.
It fastens on the neck with two buttons,
smooth down the sides and leaving the arms free. Some models have those uncomfortable holes for the arms, and in my opinion, they restrict the movements, and they are also unsightly.I matched the cape with the new Westrags shoes.
Aren't them beautiful!?!

Gli accessori fanno la differenza, possono rinnovare un vecchio abito, o rendere particolare e ricercato un look semplice e basico.
Come ad esempio questi pantaloncini e questa camicetta, li avevo utilizzati QUI, usando però accessori diversi, trasformandolo da elegante a più sportivo.
Ogni giorno lo spunto per scegliere cosa indossare mi viene dato dalla scarpa.
Intorno a essa costruisco l'intero look della giornata.

The accessories make the difference, they can renew an old dress, or let more particular a look simple and basic.
Example this shirt and this shorts, I used them HERE, but using different accessories, transforming it from elegant to more sporty.
Every day I decide my look starting by shoes.I create my look around the shoes.

La festa che preferisco di più in assoluto finalmente è arrivata..!!
Come avete passato la giornata!?!
Per l'occasione ho indossato un caldissimo e morbidissimo cardigan fatto da Lisa Couture con trama a "punto pelliccia" perfetto con la mia nuova Alma...Babbo Natale mi ha fatto questa sorpresona inaspettata!!! La volevo troppo ;) (grazie Fabio :P)

How did you spent your day!?!For the occasion I weared a very warm and soft sweater, called "point fur" made by Lisa Couture, perfect with my new Alma Bag..Santa maked me this unexpected surprise, I would have it so much..(thanks Fabio :P)

Same accessories but different look!

Come vi avevo anticipato QUI, ho riutilizzato gli stessi accessori, borsa e scarpe,  ma con un look diverso, sempre però sfruttando i toni del grigio.
Quest'anno i maglioni oversize sono tornati di moda, comodi e avvolgenti, tengono caldo nelle fredde giornate, da portare con i leggings o con le collant coprenti..Quindi prendete di mira gli armadi dei mariti, fidanzati e papà, qualcosa di utile ne uscirà fuori sicuramente!!!!!
Il mio è di parecchi anni fa (delle volte mi ringrazio da sola per non buttare o dare via certe cose)

As I told you HERE, I still use the same accessories, bag and shoes, but with a different look, but still using shades of gray.

This year, the oversize sweaters are back in fashion, comfortable and warm, keep warm on cold days, to be worn with leggings or tights...

Then peek in to the closets of your husbands, boyfriends and fathers, something good will come out!!!!!
